I was lucky enough to grew up in Gozo in a 5 story villa which my father worked tirelessly to build and develop whilst we were living there. At the age of 8 we moved back to England where I continued to watch and learn as my father built our family homes and businesses and sculpted the lands. As a child I was always keen to help in whatever way I could and spent all my free time with my father helping him in the various trades learning the skills. It was common place to find me and my dad tinkering away restoring old cars in the garage covered in oil or half way up a big old diseased tree attaching a rope, creosoting fences, building walls or driving machinery. As a teenager I carried on developing my craft working as an apprentice with my father and at a young age I was confident and skilled enough to start sub-contracting to companies within these fields. Since then my knowledge base has grown and I’ve had years to hone my skills.
